Hello and welcome to the toy hospital.

My name is Stacey and I have been a seamstress and a toy maker for many years.Afew years ago I was approached by a friend to do some repairs to her most loved treasure, BLUE. Her 30 year old teddy.This gave me the idea of placing just a small advert on the net,to help others who love their teddies and toys. Now the popularity and demand is such that I have decided to dedicate my time fully to repairing toys.

I only work with soft, material toys. I can not fix wooden, plastic, porcelin/ceramic or metal toys.

I charge a rate of £10 an hour, this includes all materials, stuffing, replacement joints, eyes etc. However where toys require replacement Mohair, this will be an extra charge, as it is very difficult to get hold of and it is very expensive. P&P with Recorded Signed for Delivery will be added once repairs are completed. Some repairs will take longer than others and I will do my best to give you a fair judgement on how long I think the repairs will take. But I always strive to do the repairs in less time than predicted. Everyone is first come first served, and I do have a list of repairs. But I will perform emergency repairs for all toys belonging to children aged 4 years and under, as I understand how some children can not be without there favourite toys for too long.

At times I still design and make my own teddys, dolls and toys. Please feel free to browse toys for sale.
I also do the odd made to measure garments (prom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, larger sized clothes M+F, waistcoats and ties, and many more... please enquire).

Please note I am currently 6 months pregnant and will no longer accepting repairs until further notice as I am currently working on repairs at the moment.
